High Holy Day DIY Guides
- Create Your Sacred Space Guide: Our tradition has referred to the home as the small sanctuary. Bring your creativity to turn wherever you join us in your home into your personal sanctuary.
- Challah Recipe Card: Master the art of the bread braid or make it round for the New Year. May we rise, this year!
- High Holy Day Schedule: Your handy go-to to find out what time services and classes start.
- High Holiday Machzor (Prayer book): All you'll need for services is compiled into one prayerbook. Download and/or print a copy and use it for all CBH services.
- High Holy Day Walk the Labyrinth Guide: Use this guide to find a labyrinth near you or stay at home with a finger labyrinth. You can use this “walking” meditation to focus on the questions most important to you these High Holy Days.
- Self Guided Tashlich: Release the challenges and the misdeeds of the past year by tossing your crumbs in the closest body of water. Use the guide to lead you in this beloved ritual.
- Hang 10 Playlists: Curated by 10 congregants and staff, we have created some unique lists of music to help you ready for the 10 Days of Repentance.
- Blackout Poetry: Write your own High Holy Day poem using this simple yet elegant technique with these step-by-step instructions and Psalm 27. You can illustrate your poem, use it in your private prayers, read it as an intention, or share it with friends.
