At this moment in time, a lot has been said and written about immigrants, conflating stories about border crossings, asylees, special immigrant visas (SIV's), humanitarian parolees, and refugees. Americans can't be expected to understand the nuances and the impact of current policies on our communities.

 We are pleased to invite you to hear from Paedia Mixon, CEO of New American Pathways, hosted by CBH’s Tikkun Olam Va’ad. Paedia will talk to us about the challenges refugee and immigrant serving agencies face, how the current halt of the US Refugee Resettlement program has impacted our community, and what we in our community can do to defend and support refugees.
