Lunchtime Torah Study
Any Tuesday from noon to one, join the member-led conversation about the week's Torah portion (parasha) at this Zoom link. You can see the lineup of leaders, as well as parasha summaries, in this spreadsheet. You can even volunteer to lead a favorite parasha on any open date, by adding your name. Our leaders follow these instructions, based on the resource sheet that Rabbi Dayle Friedman provided when the group began.
To participate, drop in any Tuesday at noon. We finish promptly at 1:00. Don’t be shy about eating lunch onscreen - we try to fit the work schedules of as many CBH folk as possible.
Jewish Folklore Exploration
A highly stimulating discussion of various beloved Jewish folktales and stories. Read them in advance and discuss or enact them in a radio play format. Held in various homes with light munchies in the evenings. Check the listserv if you are interested. Currently, in-person only with option for those on Zoom to form their own group.
