At CBH, we believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and our Adult Education program is designed to ignite your intellectual curiosity and deepen your connection to Jewish traditions and spirituality. Our extensive array of opportunities includes engaging classes with our knowledgeable Rabbi, thought-provoking guest lectures, soul-stirring music sessions, culinary explorations through food and cooking classes, meditative chant experiences, and specialized courses to prepare you for the significance of the High Holy Days during the month of Elul. Additionally, we offer rejuvenating Yoga sessions to nurture your mind, body, and soul. Whatever your interests may be, our diverse curriculum ensures that there's always something captivating for everyone. The Talmud's Greatest Hits
Interested in knowing more about the Talmud, but don't know where to start? Join Rabbi Mike as we investigate some of the best known and most meaningful passages from the Talmud. We will encounter the wisdom of the ancient sages, and discover the timeless wisdom in our ancient text.
This class is open to all, regardless of background or level of knowledge. Each meeting will be a stand-alone lesson, perfect for dropping in.
$36 for Members for 3 classes, $54 for non-members for 3 classes, or $18 per individual classes

Adult Hebrew Classes
Hebrew and Trope Classes for Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced learners are now open for registration with a limited number of seats available. Classes will start at the end of 2023 and continue into 2024. All classes are on a moderate fee basis. Average fees are $15-$20 per class; private lessons are available at $50-60. All beginner classes meet via Zoom, while some advanced/intermediate classes may involve some in person learning. To register, please contact Sandra Menes (sivia.traveler@hotmail.com)

Imbibing the Bible
CBH Members and their guests are invited to a casual come-as-you-are time to enjoy a drink with friends and talk Torah! Rabbi Mike presents a short text with lots of time to discuss and socialize. This gathering will be recurring and rotate among CBH member homes throughout the Metro Atlanta area.

Family Estrangement in the Jewish Community
Join Rabbi Judith Beiner, Chaplin of Jewish Family and Counseling Services, Nancy Kriseman, LCSW, and community members to explore family issues within Jewish communities.
Rabbi Beiner will guide us through the tangle of Jewish family estrangement issues, a topic she has researched, written about, and conducted workshops on for many years. Nancy Kriseman has worked with families dealing with this situation throughout her career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Family relationships can sometimes be challenging and can cause conflict, and emotional pain that can result in family estrangement. Join us as we delve into this topic and learn how to best navigate these difficult family relationships.
