As we celebrate this 30th year together, one of the ways CBH has been remarkable is its approach to the High Holy Days. When I attended as a guest, a couple of times when I was still a student rabbi I felt so nourished and appreciative of the beauty that CBH creates. It is also from the group of folks who would come together to create a makeshift choir that are incredible and generous CBH chorus sprang. So much of who we are as a congregation is demonstrated by how invested we are in these High Holy Days. We have always carried the understanding that they can be truly transformational. As we continue to evolve and prepare for our next 30 years and beyond, we can take great comfort that we have such a strong foundation. Let us continue to bring a sense of kindness and compassion to one another and all those who gather with us.
Here is one last message for you as we enter 5777: Cheshbon HaNefesh: Shanah Tovah
I remain ever grateful and honored to serve CBH as its rabbi. Thinking of how much uncertainty lies ahead in the coming year, I am grateful for the strength, love and clarity of our community. Thank you.
Wishing all of us the sweetest and most meaningful year.
