Soul Accounting: Starting with Your Points of Light

We have begun the month of Elul which signals our preparation for Rosh Hashanah.  Begin the practice of Cheshbon Hanefesh, a spiritual reflection and accounting of the past year -- in a gentle and loving way.

 Take some time to reflect on the points of light that you have brought into the world in the past year. Write a list of your most meaningful accomplishments and qualities. This will be the foundation for Teshuvah, our desire for renewal and repair.
