5785/2024 Food and Clothing Drive
The High Holiday Welcoming Committee and the CBH staff are asking for 2 different donations for Tzedakah this year.
We will be offering 2 ways to help this season.
1. Please bring donated items to create Blessing Bags on Yom Kippur Day. Blessing Bag Care Packages will be assembled after morning services on Yom Kippur day. Please drop off items at CBH (before 10/2) in the labeled bin or at St. Barts during CBH services.
2. Bring items to help support Toco Hills Community Alliance.
You can drop-off donated items at all services located at St. Barts or CBH in the lobby.
1. Items needed for Blessing Bags:

Food: Non-perishable food items like granola bars, protein bars, trail mix, juice boxes, tuna or chicken salad, and crackers
-
Toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, mini deodorant, Q-tips, maxi pads, and chapstick
-
Seasonal items: Sunscreen, sun hats, sunglasses, mittens, gloves, and beanies
-
Other items: Socks, tissues, hand wipes, nail clippers, cough drops, mints, gum, and gift cards.
2. Toco Hills Community Alliance Donations:

"Pop-Top" Cans of Soup/Stew/Chili/Pasta

Diapers Sizes 5, 6, and 7 - URGENT NEED

They are always in need of new or gently used cloth grocery bags.

Combining a global clean energy celebration and a mitzvah, we will spruce up CBH grounds beginning at 12:00 noon on Sun Day Sept. 21. We will spread pine straw and admire each other’s battery-powered yard tools, then at 2:30 take an eight-minute spin to the gargantuan solar installation over our High Holidays Fishburne parking deck at Emory. -
