My Ritual

You and your teen are overwhelmed with your busy schedules, and you are Zoomed out. We get it. The LAST thing you need right now is another program to try to find the link for. Despite having been stuck together for the last almost-year, you might be having trouble finding things to talk about at this point, and bonding might have become more challenging in some ways. 

We’ve got your back: We are introducing My Ritual boxed kits for teens and parents to use to get to know each other better and explore Jewish rituals together. The kits are designed so that you and your teen can do them together at home, at your own convenience and pace. 

The kits include activities to do together, discussion prompt cards, and more--all aimed at helping you and your teen explore what ritual means to YOU personally, with a focus on crafting new rituals together. 

The theme of our first box will be My Ritual: Shabbat. 

To ensure there are no barriers for any parents/teens, we are offering these boxes for free (as long as supplies last*). The boxes are designed to ideally be used with a parent/teen duo, but can also be used for a teen and two parents. (The boxes are not designed to be used by more than one teen, so additional boxes would be needed for siblings.) 

You can register for a box here; registration will close when we run out of boxes. Please note that you must be able to pick up your box from our synagogue in Toco Hills, on one of the pick up dates given on the registration form.
