Application for Madrich Program

Thank you for your interest in the CBH Madrich Program! Initially, you will be required to attend the CBH Community School as an unpaid assistant for the first year, as is mentioned in your bnai mitzvah Brit as a way to keep active in your Jewish community for the following year post bnai mitzvah. There will be a mandatory orientation in August that you must attend. If you cannot attend the date you will be unable to work as a Madrich/a for the year.

Each madrich will be assigned a classroom to observe and assist the teacher where needed; they will help engage younger students in friend making and social play during recess. Expectations are to help with classroom management and leading activities. Attendance is from 9:15am – 12:30pm.

If you are hired, we will have a review in December, where we will discuss your personal progress and desire to continue for the remainder of the year.

For the second year, if we mutually decide for you to continue, you will work in your assigned classroom at a rate of $7.00 per hour.
