How do we, as Jewish people and in this community, understand and challenge antisemitism while also ensuring that reckless accusations of antisemitism are not used to justify attacks on our civil liberties or violations of human rights? In recent weeks, we have seen how the weaponization of antisemitism is even more front and center as the Trump administration uses antisemitism to justify its detention of students and other individuals, who have participated in activism in support of Palestine, stripping them of their legal status. With “Project Esther” being rolled out, it's a critical time to explore how we got here and what we can do.

We invite CBH members for an interactive workshop and discussion, facilitated by longtime scholar, activist and CBH member, Ilise Cohen, to discuss some of the history of antisemitism and the painful ways in which it has been and is being weaponized - so that collectively we can work towards freedom and liberation for all people.
