Community Sing Under the Sukkah

Join your musical hosts Lyra Hudson, Rich Breitkopf and Deblina Datta for a fun evening of “Sing Under the Sukkah” on Sunday Oct 12 7-9pm at CBH.  We’ll be under CBH’s backyard sukkah (fingers crossed no rain, otherwise we move indoors) as in previous years.  This promises to be a great get together since nobody does community sing the way we do it at CBH!  Come and lend your voice and ruach!

Join us for any/all of the following:

•  Participation in group singing
• Lead us in a group song/chant
• Come to the mic and perform a solo tune for us.  You can accompany yourself with your instrument of choice or one of us (Rich, Deb or Lyra) can accompany you on our guitars.
• And we are more than happy if you just wanna sit under the sukkah and enjoy the beautiful singing voices around you.

Stay tuned as we’ll share a partial song list and ask for contributions from you all (will be done via CBH membership listserve).  We’ll also be sending out a signup list for solo performances as we get closer to the date.  I love the folks who surprise us with their solo talents—-just let ‘er rip!  Knowing the songs helps us to practice accompaniment in advance.  But if you are feeling inspired the day of, just come up to the mic and sing!
