Volunteer With CBH at MedShare on MLK Sunday

As of now all volunteer slots are filled; contact Jane Diamond if you’d like to be added to the waiting list.

For the 14th year, CBH will volunteer with MedShare on the Sunday of MLK weekend (Sunday, January 19) from 9 AM to Noon.

MedShare collects unused medical supplies that would otherwise be headed for landfills and distributes them to developing countries where they are sorely needed. 

Our group will sort and pack supplies at MedShare’s climate-controlled Decatur warehouse.

• Teens who volunteer can earn school-required community service hours.
• Volunteers must be age 10 or older.
• Age 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Age 16-18, if not accompanied by an adult, must bring written permission from a legal guardian.

NOTE: A few of our slots have already been filled by volunteers from previous years. But we would love to see some new CBH faces.
