Through all the changes in Jewish Atlanta, CBH continues to thrive and expand both its membership and its offerings to members. We are also being asked to do more in the community and bring our unique brand of spirit to those who prefer not to affiliate with a synagogue but who want vital and relevant Jewish experiences. The board and staff have been wrestling with the strategic question: how can CBH deepen our commitment to our members while also bringing our vision of Judaism to the larger community? How can we set ourselves up to do both better?

Much of the Jewish landscape in Atlanta and nationally is divided into “synagogue vs. start-up.” We believe this doesn’t have to be, and we believe we are the right community to dismantle the divide. We have an idea, and we want to pitch it to you: a second rabbi, who will serve both populations, financially supported by both populations fairly.

Hear how we'd like to expand offerings to you, our members, and also carve out new domain in bringing meaningful Jewish living and learning to more of Atlanta -- and hear our model for fair and sustainable cost sharing.
