Shofar Blowing

Enjoy waking up your soul to for the High Holy Days as our team of Shofar blowers sounds the blasts for the month of Elul. The Shofar will be blown each weekday morning at Mindful Moments, and each Friday evening before Shabbat Services.
This Is Your Life: A Personal Spiritual Inventory For The High Holidays
4 Elul 5782 and 11 Elul 5782 | 2 sessions -- Wednesday evenings: August 31 and September 7 at 6:30 pm
We'll look at traditional and modern texts, think about our personal stories, and have opportunities for reflective writing, as we look forward to a year of blessing and renewal:

Selichot Yoga
21 Elul 5782 | Shabbat, September 17 at 7:30 pm
In this shmita year, what are the “fruits” of your labors? Let’s practice staying present with our experience, as we prepare for Selichot and the High Holidays with an introspective and meditative yoga session.
Please bring a pillow, and yoga mat or towel. If you have other props, including blocks, please bring what you'd like to use. They are optional. Dress comfortably. Classes are taught by Certified Yoga Therapist and Congregant Rebecca Leary Safon c-IAYT RYT500.
Class will be held inside in our sanctuary with the windows open; masks will be required. If the weather allows we can move outdoors to our back patio.
Selichot Service
21 Elul 5782 | Shabbat, September 17 at 9 pm
Join us for a service featuring ancient prayers for Divine forgiveness that help us prepare our neshmas (souls) for the High Holy Days. Led by Rabbi Mike Rothbaum, this service will guide your both your heart and mind toward teshuava (repentance).
Order a Lulav and Etrog
CBH will be placing a group order for Lulav and Etrog sets again this year.
