2018 Biblical Hebrew Study Group

Interested in building your knowledge of Biblical Hebrew from the ground up. Ready for a learning adventure in the new year? Join the CBH Biblical Hebrew Study Group. Level 1 is open this fall!

Who is this for? Anyone interested in obtaining a working knowledge of Biblical Hebrew. Participants will need a basic knowledge of Hebrew alphabet before the first session, but no other experience required. 

When is this happening? Meetings are every other Monday, 7:30 - 9pm, from October 1st through December 10th at Joe's East Atlanta Coffee Shop

What do I need? Two to four hours of study time per week. There is a suggested text and workbook. We have lots of creative alternatives to buying new copies. 

What do we do at meetings? There is a facilitated discussion on the grammar topic of the week. We then work through vocabulary review, grammar exercises, and translation work. Translation starts small and progressives to actual biblical translation pretty quickly!
