Mikdash Me'at: Making a Sanctuary of Your Home

Though many of us will miss the opportunity to come together in our beautiful sanctuaries and share communal sacred space, the rabbis tell us that our home too can be a place of deep spiritual connection and enrichment.  In this one hour session, we will unpack what it means to create sacred space amidst the ordinary clutter of our lives and prepare to enter the holidays right where we are.

Rabbi Elyse Wechterman is the Executive Director of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association and former spiritual leader of Congregation Agudas Achim in southeastern Massachusetts.  A 2000 graduate of the RRC she is a teacher of practical spirituality, innovative ritual, and accessible Judaism.  Rabbi Wechterman lives in Abington, Pennsylvania with her family.
