CBH Jewish Folklore Group

The Jewish folklore tradition is rich and varied, influenced in part by the stories of other cultures in which Jews lived, but containing its own unique flavor and genres. The CBH Jewish Folklore Group gives you an opportunity each month to explore different threads of our folklore tradition, to meet with others as energized by these stories as you are, and to learn together. 

Each month we’ll meet in the home of one of our participants—usually the last Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 9. Our gatherings include a light potluck for those who want to convene at 6:30 and the the program begins officially at 7.  The next meeting is 25th. 

To participate, you must first sign up and Richard Stone, the program’s organizer will get you details for the location of the next meeting, as well as send you PDFs of the stories we’ll be discussing. 

We’re limiting participation to the first 15 people who sign up and there will be a waiting list.
