STORIES FROM THE RESISTANCE, STORIES OF RESCUE

ONLINE REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED.
If you would like to join the group, please contact Marianna  at

Ever hear of the French village of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, whose citizens saved 4,000 Jews during the Holocaust? Or Marian von Binsbergen, a 19-year-old social work student in Amsterdam, who rescued 119 Jewish babies and children? Or the White Rose Group in Germany, which in 1943 — ten years after Hitler's rise to power — urged hundreds of Germans to resist the Nazis? Come tour the Holocaust Galleries at The Breman Museum and hear stories from the Holocaust, including stories of both Jews and non-Jews who fought back against the Nazis and/or rescued many of our people. CBH members Marianna Kaufman and Lauren Rich, both Breman docents, will share these and other stories with us.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

CBHCS parents: the tour will end in plenty of time for parents to pick up students at CBH Sunday school

Location: The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum
1440 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30309 (free parking)

Cost: $7.00 per person, specially discounted for us.
