Rising Song Within:
Bringing voice to your emerging creative process

Tap into the rejuvenating energy of Shabbat by joining a circle of people who will gather for an immersive exploration of a personal creative project over the course of 8 months. This intensive group exploration draws from the Rising Song Institute Fellowship and will be led by Gayanne Geurin, an Institute Fellow.

As Shabbat comes into its fullness in the late afternoon, we will gather for Seudah shlishit,  a  time traditionally set aside to share one last gnosh and sing together. We will deepen our connection to each other and to the divine through song, delve deeper with text study, and support one another in engaging the deep yearning that is characteristic of creativity and share how our creative process emerges into form.

These sessions are designed to loosen our voices, the one you sing with and the one with which you express yourself. In between meetings, each participant will be working on a personal creative project in whatever medium their creativity tends to show itself. Participants will commit to an area of creative development.
