Private Concert With Will Robertson & Rebekka Goldsmith
$3,000 Donation (One Winner)
Two of Atlanta’s most talented musicians – Rebekka Goldsmith and Will Robertson – want to perform for you. At your house. For your family and friends.
They will collaborate with you on creating a playlist – up to 60 minutes long. Their eclectic repertoire includes traditional Jewish songs such as “Dodi Li,” a haunting version of Leonard Cohen’s “Who By Fire,” and original compositions such as Will’s captivating “Beauty” https://vimeo.com/453068790 and Rebekka’s ethereal “At the Edge of the World.” https://vimeo.com/991722808
As an added value, they will take you behind the scenes into the demanding world of performing arts by demonstrating the techniques they use to make their hard work and intense concentration look easy.
You, your family, and your friends will spend the evening with highly-accomplished artists:
- Will, a composer, lyricist, performer, arranger, producer, and Grammy-nominated engineer studied classical double bass, composition and choral conducting at Rice University in Houston and the Kodaly Pedagogical Institute in Hungary. He also studied music production at Berklee College of Music in Boston. If an instrument has strings or a keyboard, chances are he plays it.
- Rebekka, who trained as a singer, group facilitator, professional coach, and ritual leader, has spent more than 15 years guiding individuals and groups in explorations of voice, creativity, spirituality, and social justice. Her album, “Seeding the Tree,” explores themes of nature, mysticism, ancestry, and the feminine in Judaism. To put it mildly, she is not afraid to take creative risks.
For a donation of $3,000 (one winner), their private concert will make a lasting memory. And if anyone in your group is curious about what a life in music entails, this is a way to see it up close.

Up Your Street Cred. Learn to Rap.
$2,000 Donation (One Winner)
If you are not getting the respect you deserve, we can hook you up with the Oracle of Oomph, a/k/a The Power of the Hour.
For a donation of $2,000 (one winner), CBH’s coolest member, Marc Silverman, will tutor you and your crew on how to write and perform rap music.
You may remember Marc’s rap for the 2016 High Holiday appeal. The one that ended: “Out and ova. L’Shana Tova.”
With three one-hour classes, Marc will revolutionize the way you communicate. He will transform how others see you. And he will boost your street cred so it’s bangin’ like a Benzie.
How does he do it? He draws on years of laying down the beats and rhyming as a disciple of the genre’s founding generation: Snoop Dogg, NWA, Public Enemy, Ice T, and Grandmaster Flash.
So, why suffer through the diss? Deliver the cheese to the L’Chaim fundraiser, boost your rizz, chillax with Marc, and keep it trill.

Behind-The-Scenes Tour – Holocaust Museum at Kennesaw State
$1,000 Donation (One Winner)
Join Senior Curator Adina Langer for a personal behind-the-scenes tour (up to 10 people) of the Museum of History & Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University. (Suitable for 5th Grade to Adult)
With programs serving almost 200,000 people per year, the museum humanizes pivotal moments of the 20th Century and fosters empathy by illuminating the role individuals play in history and the impact of history on individuals.
As a bonus with your $1,000 donation (one winner), Adina will also take you into the room where it’s happening – an exhibit-in-progress, called “Save One Life: Resistance During the Holocaust.” When it opens in late January, it will tell a range of stories – from fighters who engaged in armed resistance to everyday people who forged documents, smuggled food, and preserved works of Jewish art and literature. Adina will explain the complicated and sometimes controversial process of curation: Who determines the exhibit’s thesis? What material is used? And what is left out?
Adina is a nationally known public historian. Before coming to Kennesaw State, she helped develop exhibits at the National September 11 Memorial and researched family histories for the Lower East Side Tenement Museum.
She can customize this Group Tour to meet your needs.

Brad Davidorf Will Enhance Your Voicemail Message
$500 Donation (Three Winners)
You know Brad’s voice as one of CBH’s Lay Cantors. But when he is not praying and swaying, he is an accomplished voice actor. Which is why you’ll want to harness his dulcet tones to upgrade the namby-pamby greeting on your voicemail. Brad has lent his voice – actually, he sells his voice – to a broad range of clients, from blue chip companies, including CNN and Coca-Cola, to the Gospel Music Channel and NAPA Auto Parts.
Stoke your imagination by visiting his website: https://voxbox.com/
He can deliver with the hyper-urgency of a local car-dealer commercial. Or the snobbery of a British aristocrat.
Or, if you prefer the voice of Tigger from Winnie-the-Pooh, Fozzie Bear from The Muppet Show, or Bill Clinton from that private room next to the Oval Office, Brad’s your guy.

Children’s Book, Live Reading, Arts & Crafts
$500 Donation (Five Winners)
Author (and CBH member) Audrey Galex will read her inspiring, beautifully illustrated book, “Turtle Rocks,” to your gathering of children of all ages.
On the surface, it’s a tale about turtles plodding along a forest path to sun themselves on a log in a pond, and about how each reacts to what appears to be a rock in its path. Beneath the surface, it’s a story of perseverance, leadership, resilience, teamwork, curiosity, and hope.
“Turtle Rocks” has been recommended by the Jewish Book Council, the longest-running organization devoted exclusively to the support and celebration of Jewish literature.
With your $500 donation (maximum 5 winners) you’ll also have the opportunity to paint your very own "turtle rock" or “turtle shell kippah.” And, of course, you will get a hardcover copy of the book, inscribed by the author.
