Back by popular demand -- CBH is delighted to announce another fall retreat! The 2017 Congregation Bet Haverim retreat will be held at The Kaplan Mitchell Retreat Center at Camp Ramah Darom. The majestic North Georgia Mountains provide a beautiful backdrop for an opportunity to commune with nature, build and/or strengthen friendships, and deepen your spiritual connection.

What are the dates and times for the retreat?

Check-in: Friday, November 3, 2017  at 4:30 pm (later arrivals OK)
Check-out: Sunday morning, November 5, 2017

Who is the retreat for?
This retreat is for you! For our babies and our community elders; singles, couples and families; lovers of nature and those prefer to enjoy nature's beauty through the window of a hotel room -- we have you in mind. Programming will include indoor and outdoor activities, structure and downtime, and special children's programming along with intergenerational programming. 

Is transportation provided?
Participants provide their own transportation, but we have created a ride-share sign up mechanism so that those who wish to carpool can find one another.

What is included with my registration fee?
All of your meals and snacks, accommodations, adult, family, and youth programs and activities, entertainment, and lifelong memories. 

What are the accommodation options?
Shared Cabins

Cabins are our least expensive lodging option, and are a great option if you are comfortable with shared space. Cabins are winterized and have ceiling fans (though we may not need them in November!). Each cabin includes 1-2 private bedrooms, each with 2 single beds; a bunking room with 3-8 bunk beds; and 2 bathrooms. Typically, only 2 households are put together in one cabin. Cabins do not include bed linens and bath towels- you need to bring from home.

Standard Hotel Rooms
Each standard hotel room has two queen beds or two full beds. Completely comfortable with AC and heat, table and chairs, bureau and private bath. Bed linens and bath towels are included. Maximum capacity is four people per room. 

Deluxe Hotel Rooms
These rooms are newer and larger than the standard hotel rooms. Each room has one king, two queen or two full size beds, and a large private bath. These oversized rooms are comfortable with AC and heat, table and chairs and a bureau. Bed linens and bath towels are included. Maximum capacity is four people per room.

Where is Ramah Darom?
Ramah Darom is located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains two hours north of Atlanta outside of Clayton, GA. Driving directions will be provided to participants.

What is the refund policy?
Full refunds minus a $25 processing fee are available until May 31. From June 1-Labor Day (Sept.5), we can offer a 50% refund. After Labor Day, we are unable to refund payments.

Can I help other members participate in the retreat?
If you are interested in contributing to the retreat fund to make the experience financially feasible for all members of CBH, you may do so on the registration page.

Retreat Registration Fees:

Each per person registration fee covers all meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner, Sunday breakfast), snacks, accommodations (see choices below), and programs.

• Children under 2 are free.
• After two paid children per family, additional children are free
• Note: Double Occupancy rate is for each of 2 adults staying together, not adult + child

Refunds and other policies: 

• Until May 31, we will refund 100% minus a $25 processing charge.
• From June 1 until Sept. 5, we will offer a 50% refund, minus a $25 processing charge
• It is possible to set up a credit card payment plan between registration and the retreat, but must be paid in full prior to retreat. Contact Julie to set up a payment plan.
• Limited financial assistance is available. Please contact Amy to apply
