This Shabbat, we step boldly into the wilderness, a place of uncertainty, adventure, and sacred possibility. BaMidbar means in the wilderness, and it is where the Israelites took their first sacred census, not just counting heads, but affirming that every soul matters.

In these wild, beautiful times of transition for our community, we are calling you in to reconnect, to reground, and to celebrate who we are becoming.

Come celebrate:

• The return of our beloved Rabbi Emeritus Joshua Lesser stepping back into a different chapter of leadership
• The joyful naming of Rebekka Goldsmith as our Interim Spiritual Leader
• Our graduates!
• Our spirited chorus, lively band with Will Robertson, and special guests from Beth Chayim Chadashim, a kindred LGBTQ-founded synagogue from Los Angeles, closing their Civil Rights pilgrimage with us and bringing even deeper resonance to the night

This is not a service to sit out.
This is an ingathering.
A night of music, purpose, hope, and wild, wonderful community.

Whether you have felt close or estranged, sure-footed or uncertain, there is a place for you in the circle.
You count. You matter. Your presence blesses us.
