Affinity Groups
Over the years, we've had many different kinds of clubs and affinity groups form within the community around shared interests. Often these begin quite informally - a congregant has an idea and starts having conversations, and a new group is born. Over time, many in our community identify the relationships they form in these smaller groups as their proverbial "home base" within our ever-growing synagogue. If you are looking for ways to get to know other CBHers and digging more deeply into our community life, here are some of our most active groups right now. If you have new ideas and some energy to put toward forming a group, please send Amy an email and we can talk!
KATAV WRITERS GROUP
Calling all writers and aspiring writers and friends of writers - If you've written a book, a short story, a poem, or even a term paper or book report and just need to discuss it with like-minded people, you are welcome at Katav. If you're not sure you want to share, that's fine, too. Come and listen to the discussion.
We will talk about the writing process, writing practice, techniques, and even how to deal with writer's block.
