Ancient Wisdom for Modern Families
Taught by Rabbi Ruth Abusch-Madger
Ancient Jewish wisdom can help us navigate the ups and downs of modern parenting. Beyond Facebook, does a promised land of family life even exist? What can we do when our tempers get the best of us? In a world of plenty, how can we and our children focus on what is most important? Join us for conversations that look at biblical stories and rabbinic wisdom to help us unpack our own experiences as parents.
Ruth Abusch-Magder earned a doctorate by studying domestic Jewish life but also earned her credibility in the motherhood trenches where together with her husband she is raising two kids and has parented on three continents.
