Who do you see when you look in the mirror? The High Holidays are a time to look back on the previous year and think about how we can become our better selves in the coming year. Together we will learn about the Jewish perspective on mirrors in the bible and midrash, how the Sufi poet Rumi uses the mirror as a metaphor, and Toni Morrison's mirror. Then we will create our own mirrors--using CDs and DVDs--to reflect who we will be in the new year.
Light refreshments will be served.
Bring your own CDs and DVDs if you have them and want to get rid of them.
Suggested donation to cover cost of materials: $5
