Preparing the Heart: A Spiritual Retreat for the High Holidays

9:30am - arrive, coffee/tea/pastries/shmooze

9:50am - 4:20pm: Retreat

Location: Atlanta area location (provided to registrants at a later date)

Lunch: Potluck (sign up to be sent to registrants at a later date)

Cost:  CBH members - free, general public - $50

Do you ever feel like one day you’re out doing your daily errands, and the next day you’re facing an accounting for all your actions, a shift in the cosmos, the call of the shofar, and an avalanche of prayers for which you may not exactly be ready? 

There’s a remedy! 

Traditionally, the month preceding the High Holy Days is a time of reflection and preparation, so that when we heft those weighty HH prayer books, we are ready. Join CBH's Director of Music and Spiritual Arts Rebekka Goldsmith and Mindful Moments leaders Reuben Haller, Rob Kistenberg, Rebecca Leary Safon, Amy Lighthill, and McKenzie Wren for a transformative day of High Holy preparation, including a sound bath, chanting, movement, nature and contemplation, discussion, sharing a meal, art-making, and more!
