CBH REMEMBERS
The 250 young Jewish women and men in the Jewish Fighting Organization, who fought against the German army 75 years ago in Warsaw, Poland

Join us Friday night, April 13, 2018 at CBH on Lavista at 7:30 pm. Learn what was the Jewish Fighting Organization, how it began, and how these Jewish young people held out for three weeks against the strongest army in the world. This all-CBH service will memorialize the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. Indeed Yom HaShoah was established in Israel in the early 1950s to commemorate the the Shoah and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, which began on the first night of Passover in 1943; the full name of the holiday is Yom haShoah v’ haGevurah, Day of (remembrance of) the Holocaust and of the Resistance. Looking forward to seeing everyone at this special all-CBH Friday night service!
