CBHCS Daffodil Project

Sunday, March 15, 2026 26 Adar 5786

10:00 AM - 12:00 PMGrant Park

The Daffodil Project aspires to build a worldwide Living Holocaust Memorial by planting 1.5 million daffodils in memory of the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust and in support for children suffering in humanitarian crises in the world today. CBH's Daffodil Project garden was planted in 2021 and we are marking the blooming of the daffodils again this year.

The entire CBH community is invited to join the CBH Community School for this year's commemoration. We will begin with a brief minyan and daffodil blooming ceremony.  We will then participate in a service project in Grant Park in partnership with the Grant Park Conservancy.

Where: Southwest Corner of Grant Park on Cherokee Avenue at the Erskine Fountain (across the street from 851 Cherokee Avenue SE, Atlanta GA 30315). The cross street is Ormond Street.  There is a map showing the garden location at the bottom of this page: https://www.congregationbethaverim.org/the-daffodil-project.html

Street parking is available on Cherokee, Atlanta, Ormond or nearby streets, and there is paid parking at the Zoo lot on Cherokee near Augusta Avenue
