Our Artistic Staff

Gayanne Geurin Weiss (Music Director, Composer, Soloist) – Gayanne is the music director of Congregation Bet Haverim, responsible for the musical and artistic development of both the adult and children's choruses and the CBH band. Gayanne assists Beverly in the direction of the chorus, composes music for the chorus, and is the principal alto soloist.  Gayanne received her masters degree in religious studies from the University of Chicago Divinity School and is a lay cantor for CBH.  She also trained under Robert Shaw while singing with the Atlanta Symphony Chorus. 

Will Robertson (Chorus Director) - Will is CBH's chorus director, and also plays guitar and mandolin in CBH's band. He has composed and arranged several pieces for the synagogue, and produced their first CD, Shekhina's Crown and chorus and instrumentalist’s second cd, The Threshing Floor. Will studied at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music and Berklee College of Music. As a producer, Will has worked with several talented singer-songwriters up and down the East Coast, including Brooklyn-based artist David Berkeley and CBH's own Danielle Sansone.
