Join us for a weekend with nationally acclaimed author and spiritual teacher Rabbi Rami Shapiro to explore the spiritual practice of recovery and the spiritual drain of unhealthy dependence. In his book, Recovery: The Sacred Art, Rabbi Rami teaches that addiction is a manifestation of a spiritual disease borne of a state of mind all humans share – the belief that we should be in control. Though this can play out in harder and softer forms, Rabbi Rami teaches that the 12 steps can be of service to all of us, because we are all addicted to the delusion of control.
