Gather and celebrate the awesome Jewish humans we are with paint, a drink, and schmoozing. We believe creativity is not just for artists - we are all inherently creative beings. CBH taps into the creative arts as a tool for self-discovery and social interaction and for inspiring vibrant, engaged Judaism. If you haven’t painted since elementary school, then that’s all the more reason to come and “brush” up your artistic skills. Our facilitator will walk you through the steps to help you bring home a unique, individualized piece of art.
We’ll paint a Rosh HaShanah themed painting using acrylic paint on canvas.
You will then have the opportunity to have your painting photographed for use as a Happy New Year/Shanah Tovah Greeting card to send to your friends and family.

CBH provides  Canvas, paint, brushes, step-by-step instruction, good conversation, bottle openers
You bring the beverages.

Optional items you can bring: Your own brushes, smock or apron, a table easel

This event is designed for adults. Older teens are welcome to bring if you need a ride home, hahah.

$10 per person Early Bird - before July 7
$15 per person after July 8.

The Rules Schmules
BE ON TIME. We will start painting and drinking at 7pm.

ARRIVE 15 minutes early to get uncorked, smocked & in your seat! If you want more time to unwind, avoid traffic, visit with friends & breathe before we get shmoozy, we invite you to arrive up to 30 min prior to start time. It's your Shabbat unwind time.

LOCATION: We are located at 2074 Lavista Road, Atlanta, 30329. Parking available across Lavista Road at the intown community church, or in the neighborhood.
Please use the crosswalk in front of Young Israel at the light. There have been several car/huma accidents in this area.

PAYMENT POLICY: Paying online or via phone is required to guarantee your reservation. Walkins will not be able to paint unless you bring your own supplies. You can stay to drink and shmooze!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We require 48 hours notice of cancellation so that we may offer your spot to another customer.
(Please send an email if contacting after office hours or on the weekend.)
No shows will not receive a refund but you can sign up for the next Paint & Shmooze using the credit.

CBH reserves the right to cancel event for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed. We are looking forward to painting with you!
