Our Mission and Future

We envision a future for Bet Haverim firmly rooted in our unique heritage-a heritage forged in the shadow of the tragedy of intolerance with hope for a more accepting future. We know our very existence as a flourishing Jewish community will serve tikkun olam or repairing the world. The challenge our progressive Jewish ideals pose will raise the consciousness of both Jews and non-Jews. We trust our simply-stated mission will have far-reaching, positive impact within our community, country and the world; indeed, it already has.
